The Planning and Facilitation Collaborative and Partners for Planning have announced a new research initiative in partnership with Disability and Medical Anthropologists at Western University.

The Expanding the Capacity of Planning and Facilitation Supports in Canada research initiative is a qualitative research study that will gather insights from participants from across Canada who have experienced planning and facilitation.

Participants are needed to take part in this study. They are looking for disabled individuals and their families who are undergoing the planning and facilitation process. The experiences shared through this research will help to shape future initiatives that support the well-being of other Canadians with developmental or intellectual disability, in alignment with The Planning and Facilitation Collaborative’s commitment to growing the capacity of value-based planning and facilitation supports.

Participants will be asked to take part in an interview conducted over Zoom, which will last approximately one hour.

Those who would like more information about the study can contact Dr. Pamela Block at pblock@uwo.ca.
